Thanks for the great piece on what's happened at Guelph. I'm sorry to hear about the closure of SFU's Canadian Studies program, another valuable program that has been closed in the wake of the "economic crunch" sweeping the nation--and its universities. There is no doubt that the economic crisis has been serious, but robbing students and workers of a sound, well-rounded education and stable, fair jobs is not the way out.
